The Garfield Brothers from Warmington near Oundle

During World War One, Mr and Mrs John Garfield of Warmington near Oundle in Northamptonshire, sent five sons to serve their country on the Western Front. They Were:
  • William Charles Garfield (Bill)
  • Arthur James Garfield (Jim)
  • Ernest Robert Garfield (Bob)
  • Walter S. Garfield (Walter)
  • Edward Dexter Frank Garfield (Frank)
Four Garfield Brothers

William (Bill) was killed on the 3rd May 1917 and Edward (Frank) and Walter were wounded. In addition to the brothers, the family also consisted of four sisters:

  • Dorothy (Doll)
  • Sarah (Annie)
  • Bessie Hannah
  • Kate
